Who were the KGB?
The KGB were bad-asses. They busted codes, they blackmailed fools, stole cars, bugged hotel rooms and generally did whatever they wanted - usually after dark.
They double-crossed informants and ran through beautiful women. They had everybody in their sights and there was no point trying to hide. Police turned a blind eye out of respect and fear.
They had a dozen aliases and a suitcase stacked with hundreds. If they wanted the music to get louder, it got louder. They made street gangs look like boy-scouts toasting marshmallows.
